As a Claim Representative Support Intern, you will review and analyze policies to verify coverage, establish reserves, and settle claims for less complex losses. Other responsibilities will include contact with customers to explain coverage, settle their claims and contribute to the high customer service results within the claims department. You will also assist various claims teams following catastrophe storms.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, communications or insurance related field
• Interpersonal skills
• Effective problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to comprehend and utilize various computer programs
