Responsibilities & Qualifications

Handle low to moderate complexity claims, with the supervision and guidance from the manager. Research and determine coverage investigations, determine compensability, evaluate exposures and liability and manage claims to conclusion. Other responsibilities include managing file activity with diary system, ensuring proper reserving, participating in training activities, triaging of claims and other duties as directed by manager.  

 

Preferred Experience and Skills

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance or related field
  • Prior claims handling experience not necessary but a plus
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of personal computers
  • General math skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Interpersonal skills
