Responsibilities & Qualifications

Collects and analyzes financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or business units to track the organization's progress against financial goals. Reports current or expected financial performance and creates financial models to guide decision making. Analyzes expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments using key metrics to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls. Assists in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts. Assists with developing automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.

 

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Knowledge of Excel
  • Analytical abilities
  • Knowledge of financial systems, ex. OneStream or Hyperion

 

Preferred Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPCU or other insurance designations
