Job Summary

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our Surety Operations Team! The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn a complex underwriting system, with the ability to independently manage and prioritize tasks. Success in this role requires a strong communicator with a problem-solving mindset, and someone willing to learn alongside a new and developing team.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

*This position offers a hybrid work schedule.  Candidates who are located within 50 miles of a West Bend office location will work a hybrid schedule for collaboration days, team meetings or other in-person events.  The position can be based in Madison, West Bend or Appleton.   

 

A Surety System Analyst acts as a front-line technical contact for Surety Underwriting teams across multiple regions. The role will analyze, test, and monitor front-end system functionality, releases, and development requests for the Surety underwriting system (Tinubu). This includes the coordination of user feedback and feature requests. Working with a team, this individual manages resolution and escalation for internal users who are reporting incidents with the system. The position is responsible for the overall function of the system, including buildout and maintenance of bond configurations and forms, including underwriting parameters, rules, and rating tables. The Surety System Analyst will assist in developing processes and workflows to efficiently support underwriters. The role will also work on various system-related projects and initiatives.

  • Knowledge of underwriting mechanics & fundamentals
  • Technical systems knowledge

 

Preferred Education and Training

 

  • Bachelors degree in Business or a related field
