Job Summary

Use your experience providing guidance and oversight to a team of adjusters who handle the most complex CL & PL property claims. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Summary of Responsibilities
Manage a team of large loss claim representatives handling high-exposure property claims across both Personal and Commercial Lines.  Oversee the investigation and resolution of assigned claims, providing strategic direction and technical expertise. Guide claim representatives in managing complex files and high-value settlements. Responsible for the selection, training, development, and performance management of personnel. Lead special projects as assigned. Collaborate with the Commercial Enterprise to provide insight on underwriting and renewal considerations for large property exposures.

 

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Prior experience supervising claims personnel
  • Experience handling high-exposure property claims
  • 5+ years of claims handling experience
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop personnel
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Expertise in high-level negotiations
  • Comfortable communicating with senior-level leadership

Preferred Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field
  • Ongoing insurance education and professional development
