What You’ll Do

  • Lead the Commercial Pricing Team, setting strategy and priorities aligned to business goals
  • Act as a key advisor to senior leadership, delivering insights that shape growth, profitability, and risk management
  • Own and evolve the technical pricing framework, leveraging data and models to drive risk-based decisions
  • Oversee pricing for new and existing products – balancing competitiveness with strong financial performance
  • Guide reserving methodologies and ensure accurate, compliant loss reserve practices
  • Partner closely with Underwriting, Product, Claims, and Finance to optimize portfolio performance
  • Drive innovation by integrating advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and decision frameworks into business processes
  • Lead financial forecasting, including premium, loss, and reserve projections
  • Support regulatory and financial reporting, including statutory filings and reserve opinions
  • Build a high-performing team – mentoring, coaching, and developing actuarial talent while fostering a culture of continuous learning

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of actuarial experience, with 3–5+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven success leading actuarial teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
  • Deep expertise in pricing, reserving, and risk management within P&C insurance
  • Experience with predictive modeling, data analytics, and modern actuarial tools (SAS, Python, Databricks, SQL, Excel)
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights
  • A forward-thinking mindset – able to deliver insights that not only explain results, but shape strategy
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative, “enterprise-first” approach

Education & Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) or equivalent
